Japanese design studio Atelier Tekuto submitted a draft Cell Brick. Completed in 2004, this four-story house of 85 sq.m. Located in Tokyo, Japan.

It consists of a set of steel boxes measuring 450 mm x 900 mm x 300 mm, between which is periodically submitted by the holes that have become windows. The depth and location of the block hot sun in summer and attracts rare rays of the winter. Moreover, a special ceramic coating is applied over steel, which solves the problem of heat resistance and heating.


In the basement of the house is one of the bedrooms. At the first level are the kitchen and living room on the third - a bathroom and spiral staircase. This also provides access to the terrace. The fourth floor is divided between the two bedrooms and a loft.
