Ronda is a city in the Spanish province of Malaga, which is part of the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is located about 100 kilometers (62 miles) west of the city of Malaga. Its population is approximately 35,000 residents.

The first settlers of the town of Ronda were the ancient Celtic tribes, who appeared here in the 6th century BC, called the town Arunda. Later, settled near the Phoenician settlers who founded the settlement Asipino, and called in the neighborhood of the ancient city of Ronda-la Vieja, Arunda Drevnayaya or Ronda.
